I had a great time meeting drummer’s drummer Brendan Buckley, a highly precise and beautiful drummer who has mastered multiple styles, thanks to a diligent work ethic, also because Brendan gives back to the drum world by teaching. He grew up in New Jersey like my mom, but at the age of 18, Brendan packed his car and moved to Miami to learn to be a world class drummer. He’s drummed with everyone from Shakira to the experimental rock band Pedestrian to… Mr. Julio Iglesias! That’s a hell of a roster.
